How much does it cost to host a registry
2idi will gladly host most community registries for free. Our goal - first and foremost - is to support widespread use of i-names technology, as we feel that giving people control over their personal information is an essential step towards creating a more democratic - and useful - Internet. Since i-names and their associated data is guaranteed to be portable, first by the protocol and second by 2idi's implementation and commitment, if at any time in the future you wanted to move your registry, or some user within your registry wanted to move their i-name and/or data to another i-broker/host, that would be easily accomplished.
How does SSO work between sites
One can manually type in the fully qualified i-name on another blog, or a link from one to another could contain the i-name within the link so that the process could be transparent to the user. We plan to provide a service for users on their "i-broker home page" that includes links to all the user's i-name enabled sites so that she can always just return to her home page and then click on a link to access other pages. Note that this is a true "service" that any site could similarly host.
